No. Creating a WorkPair account is completely free. You get a permanent WorkPair ID (WID), unlimited credentials, feed access, and a wallet. The only upfront cost is the one-time $20 government ID verification fee through our certified verification partner, which confirms your identity across 200+ countries.

WorkPair uses a prepaid wallet system. You top up your wallet (minimum $5, via Stripe) and platform fees are deducted automatically. Engagement actions like likes ($1.50), comments ($2.00), and reposts ($5.00) each have a small fee. This keeps interactions meaningful and spam-free.

Every interaction on WorkPair is from a government ID-verified person. The small fees ensure every engagement is intentional and genuine — no bots, no spam, no fake engagement. It's what makes WorkPair fundamentally different from free social platforms.

Government ID verification costs a one-time $20 fee, processed through our certified third-party verification partner. This covers biometric matching, document verification across 200+ countries, and fraud detection. You can verify up to 2 times per year (with a 6-month waiting period between verifications).

Gig/contract listings are $79 for 14 days. Full-time job listings are $129 for 30 days. You can add a Featured badge (+$49) or Urgent flag with push notifications (+$79). Every applicant is government ID-verified.

Institutions (universities, employers, government, professional bodies) get custom pricing based on type and size. Plans include Starter and Growth tiers with bulk credential management, analytics, and team features. Annual billing saves 15%. Contact sales for a quote.

All payments are processed through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Enterprise customers can pay via invoice with NET 30 terms. Wallet top-ups start at $5 with quick buttons for $10, $25, $50, and $100.

Wallet top-ups and platform fees are non-refundable, as they pay for verified actions that have already been processed. The identity verification fee ($20) is also non-refundable, as verification is processed immediately by our third-party partner. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

The API lets verified organizations run background checks on consenting users. Basic tier ($5) returns name and employment history. Standard ($10) adds education and all credentials. Premium ($15) includes verified institutions, endorsements, and references. All checks require user consent.

Yes. Institutions can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. All member data and credentials are preserved across plan changes.

No. Professionals, recruiters, and families use WorkPair for free. There are no monthly fees for individual accounts. You only pay for platform actions (likes, comments, posts) from your prepaid wallet, plus the one-time $20 identity verification fee.
