Version 2026-10-05 · Last updated October 5, 2026 · WorkPair®, Inc.
1. Consent first
You may ask about a person only for a purpose you declared, and you receive only what that person (or their guardian) approves. You must not try to identify, profile or track people beyond what they approved, or combine answers to learn more than was shared.
2. Permissible purposes
The purposes you declare and the statement your signatory attests to are binding. For employment, tenancy, credit, insurance or other eligibility decisions, you are responsible for the laws that apply to them. [Counsel to confirm: FCRA user certification (§604(b), §607), Notice to Users of Consumer Reports, adverse-action obligations (§615), GLBA reuse limits, and whether WorkPair furnishes consumer reports]
3. Using answers
- Use answers only for the declared purpose; don’t resell or disclose them except as the law requires.
- Keep them secure and delete them when you no longer need them for that purpose.
- Monitoring ends when the person withdraws it, the approved period ends, or their record ends; stop relying on earlier answers when told.
4. Your workspace
- Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under them.
- Fees are on the Fees page and are taken from your prepaid wallet. You can cancel your workspace plan at the end of a month, or close the workspace; any remaining balance is refunded.
- We may suspend a workspace that misuses WorkPair or misrepresents itself.
5. Data protection
[Counsel to confirm: controller/processor roles for answers received, data processing terms, cross-border transfers, breach notification between the parties]
